Big Joe is up to bat in a one-man homerun derby. Move him around the batter's box and time your swing just right to hit some homeruns into the stands. Try standing in the middle of the box toward the bottom of the screen until you get the hang of it. Then move around the box to find the best spots for curveballs, fastballs, etc.
